Marc, Jessica and Diane will share with you their enthusiasm and show you how to create and sell different images where the only limits are those of your imagination and your talent.
Marc thinks it is now important to enhance each photo to win prizes in the accreditation submissions and the PPOC print competition.
Just a good photo is not enough. We must see beyond the image.
For Diane the competition is a plus for the sales. At the screening, she takes the time to explain to the clients the composition, the impact, the lighting and the enhancement of their portrait. It is not only a photo but a work of art that they will cherish through the years.
Last year, Jessica‘s unique digital paintings caught the attention of the Discovery Channel program “How it’s made”. This program was broadcast last December across Canada and soon to in United States as well as in 180 countries in 41 languages.
Marc will demonstrate how to create depth in your photos using light and the environment.
With the help of their daughter Jessica, a graduate in visual arts at the University of Quebec in Montreal, the studio now offers unique and exclusive high-end products. She has won the title of Specialist of the Year in Quebec 6 times.
Marc has been a PPOC member for the last 40 years. He won the title of “Portrait Photographer of the Year” in Quebec in 2007, 2012 and 2013 and was named “Portrait Photographer of the Year in Canada” in 2007, 2014 and PPOC Artist of the Year in 2018 .
Marc also received the prestigious Yousuf Karsh Award at the 2018 PPOC Convention in Richmond B.C. In 2017, Marc received his 7th PPOC Masters Bar. He has often judged at the provincial and national levels.
