He will discuss the approaches necessary and the expectations of both photographer and client when tackling commercial assignments of all types in the 2019 market.

Using his own experience on assignment for magazines to shoot editorial assignments, Ian will guide you through the process, discussion the expectations and approaches needed. Location lighting and other technical aspects will be covered.
Ian McCausland has been a working freelance photographer for over 30 years, creating award-winning images for clients of all varieties, from small business to national campaigns. Hailing from Winnipeg, Ian has worked in temperatures from -40C to +40C, and everything in between. Ian enjoys working with people. He loves learning about the things people do. Everyone has a story worth telling and he loves to hear them. He loves the collaborative process, and working with talented people on projects. He finds nothing more gratifying than seeing his work used in good design.
