We are excited to team up with Eagle Wing Whale Watching Tours to offer an OPTIONAL Marine Photo tour to add on to your convention weekend. This 3.5-4+ hour private charter on an indoor/outdoor catamaran will explore the Salish Sea looking for marine mammals, seabirds and spectacular coastline perfect for nature, wildlife and scenic photographers.
Check in promptly at 8:00am. The dock is located 850 meters – about a 10 minute walk – from the Hotel Grand Pacific.
After boarding the open/closed catamaran, we will head out for a 3.5-4 hour tour around the Salish Sea searching for wildlife including otters, harbour seals, sea lions, whales, eagles, and a plethora of sea birds as well as views of the stunning coast line.
If you are flying out same day, be sure to book your flight later in the day, since our return time can be flexible if wildlife makes an appearance closer to the end of the tour.
The crew includes naturalist/photographers who will share tips and tricks for capturing beautiful photographs on the ocean and we will communicate with the Captain along the way for a customized experience.
Note: We need a minimum 30 to run the tour, with a maximum of 50 participants. Once the minimum is reached, fee will be reduced on a sliding scale to a potential $135 and the first 30 registrants will be reimbursed accordingly.
The tour is open to conference attendees and their guests.
