Photography affords us the opportunity to give experiences, thoughts, and ideas a voice through a visual medium that every single person in the world can identify, regardless of age, race, and language. There is so much more to a compelling photograph than the click of a button; more than numbers and ratios, principles and rules, and colour charts. There is inspiration, story, and vision. Cassandra wants to help you find yours.
In this class, Cassandra will break down all of the elements that go into creating emotive storytelling portraits that will help you grow your business, and use your voice to make an impact on the world.

Are you ready to step out of the studio and venture into the stunning world of natural, outdoor photography?
In this class, Cassandra will reveal how to scout gorgeous natural light and shadows outdoors and how to trouble-shoot difficult lighting conditions. She will show you what types of locations to look for to create compelling compositions with babies and children. And, she will discuss the safety implications of photographing babies and children outdoors.
Cassandra is a world renowned, multi award-winning baby and child photographer based in Grande Prairie, Alberta. She is best known for her outdoor baby and child portraits and draws much of her outdoor inspiration from her childhood spent on a remote farm in northern Alberta.
Her deep appreciation for the experiences that comprise our lives, coupled with her background in clinical psychology, has led Cassandra to develop a unique photographic style with deep roots in storytelling. Cassandra is passionate about using her platform to share photographs and stories that aim at creating awareness and uniting people around the world to work toward global understanding and equality for all.
In addition to serving photography clients in her local community, Cassandra travels the world, teaching fine-art photography workshops. Hundreds of people around the globe have benefited from her honest, detailed, hands-on approach.
When she is not doing photo sessions or teaching workshops, you can find Cassandra working on her new book, and photographing her many foster kittens for a product line that will benefit the local rescue when it launches this fall.
Cassandra’s photography has been recognized with multiple awards from Range Finder Magazine Portrait Masters International, the Professional Photographers of Canada, and Wedding & Portrait Photography International.
